Bio

Born and raised in the Green Mountains, Evan Jennison is a rising presence in Vermont’s music scene. Steeped in the inspiration of his surroundings, Evan’s sound walks the lines between Americana, folk, bluegrass, and rock with a voice of his own. His songs analyze the world through his own lens, and they are brought to life with powerful and memorable live performances. On stage and in the studio, Evan has cultivated his signature style melding acoustic instruments with cavernous electric tones, reverberant harmonies and spiraling improvisation together effortlessly.

Evan is a frequent collaborator with many of Vermont’s (and beyond’s) finest musicians like Clint Bierman, Peter Day, Jeff Vallone, Ben Lively, Josh Dobbs, Matt Schrag and Russ Lawton. He has shared the stage with countless other renowned artists both local and national such as: Al Schnier and Vinnie Amico of moe., Cabinet’s Pappy Biondo, Nick Cassarino, Rob Compa of Dopapod, Hayley Jane and others.

Evan’s new album, “Standing Next to Nothing,” is a collection of bold, new material recorded at Trey Anastasio’s Barn Studio, and Tank Recording in Burlington.
